I've played this game since launch with 0 major issues, aside from the usual random crashing or freezing. now, however, my saves don't get recognized. The folder on my C:\\ drive with local saves has all 76 files, but when I launch FO4, "load" is grayed out, and it doesn't even recognize those saves. Anyone else have this issue and have any idea what to do?
Usually they screw up save files from time to time. EDIT: steam cloud might be an issue- there's a limit on the size of the files that can be stored. It may the the problem, and it might not be. Just shooting in the dark, take this idea with a grain of salt. Err, the game doesn't auto delete old saves.
load save crashes game. After playing for approx. 70 hours, my wife's FO4 crashes when she loads a saved game. Radeon drivers are the most current, tried loading different save files, updated to beta patch, etc. Never had this problem once in the whole 70 hours, not sure why it started today.

Sorry man, I've never had my manual saves not show in the load menu, so I just don't have a ready solution. I figured it out: what I needed to do was open up the saved games folder and delete the ".tmp" ending from the saved file, so that ".ess" is the only ending. When I did that it showed up on the load menu again.
The problem is a ways in it just stopped showing any new saves in the game. I looked in the save folder and it has a bunch of saves numbered 83 so it must not be able to see any of them. I backed it up and deleted all the ones in slot 83 except the newest, but it still isn't showing up. I checked and read-only is off.
In MO click on the profiles icon at top left and select the profile for the saves you want to load. Check the box "Local Savegames", then "Transfer Saves". That should transfer your saves in that profile name from the Documents folder into MO\profiles\saves. MO should then recognize the saves.
For adding or removing perks type player.addperk or player.removeperk and the perk ID, look them up on the fallout 4 wikia. Finally, if you want to load a preset face made in LooksMenu it has to be Vanilla friendly, no eye, hair, or any other mods that altered separate models from the actor face.
